Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start?

Always begin with Warm Ups before practice. If you haven’t pole danced before, we recommend stretch, floorwork and/or heels prior, but is not required. When you feel comfortable, start with Beginning & All Levels choreography and pole tricks such as “Sensual Series.”
Proceed with “Getting ready to fly” conditioning and inverts before starting intermediate and advanced pole training.

Do I need a pole?

NO pole needed for Stretch, Floorwork, Heels & Warm Ups (except pole conditioning)

YES

Studio & pole rentals are available, please contact for more info

Where can I purchase a pole?

Please only buy professional poles for your own safety. We do not advise buying cheap ones off Amazon.
We’ve all seen those Tik Tok Videos of poles ripping out the ceiling… You can severely injure yourself and damage property as well.
We recommend X Pole, the same ones we use in our studios.

What should/shouldn’t I wear?

Wear what you feel comfortable in! But, the more skin contact with the pole, the easier it’ll be to grip and do tricks.
Shorts, sports bras, pole wear, even swimwear works.
Remember NO lotions or oil on your skin and hair prior to pole.
If you are working with a silicone or powdered pole, you can wear more clothing and still be able to grip.
If you are prone to dry hands, we recommend glycerin + alcohol on hands after to become stickier.
If you are to prone to sweat, we recommend “Dry Hands” & for more grip “ITAC”
