Erin Wu 吳芊逸 is an actress, Wushu martial artist, and choreographer born in Taiwan. She plays Tala in Emmy nominated series Sugar (2024-) Colin Farrell, Diamelle in Old Dads (2023) Bill Burr, Gia in 'The Family Business (2021-2025) Ernie Hudson and pole dancer in The Idol (2023) Lily Rose Depp. She began her career starring as the sword lead in music videos for 'Brave' and 'Flames' alongside Danny Trejo. Wu gained recognition for her breakout lead performance as Kia in Star Wars fan film: Dark Legacy and is known for performing her own stunts.
After surviving a major surgery as an infant, she immigrated with her family to Ohio before eventually moving to California. A multidisciplinary performer from an early age, Wu first trained competitively in figure skating beginning at six years old, then performed Hip Hop with dance team Future Shock San Jose. Simultaneously, she trained extensively and competed in Wushu martial arts, specializing in straight sword and spear. Wu graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Theater. During her time at UCLA, she directed Samahang Modern and competed with Wushu Team A.
Off screen, Wu is an advocate for animal welfare and supports BunnyLuv Rabbit Resource Center, helping raising awareness and funds as well as cruelty-free practices. She is also a movement choreographer, certified Pilates instructor, and the owner of FlowerPeopleLA.
In 2026, Wu was honored as one of Bruce Lee's Kung Fu Kings & Queens, Top 20 Actress & Martial Artists in TV/Film.
